TOTS BOTS  Warehouse Operative  

Full time & Permanent 

Mon to Fri 8am - 5pm, plus any additional hours required at busy periods

Overview of Role:

Working alongside the Warehouse Manager to ensure that all goods in/out procedures, inventory storage and related system and administration processes are continuously maintained to ensure an organised and efficient department. Supported by the General Management team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

The role is a physically demanding role, involving heavy lifting and being on your feet for most of the day.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Picking, Packing and dispatching
  •  Liaise and communicate effectively with all departments, customers, couriers, suppliers 
  • Follow a system to reduce stock damage
  • Classify, label and warehouse inventory for future use
  • Keep accurate records of inventory levels and locations for ease of retrieval
  • Manage the RTV (Return to vendor) process
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Company Strategies and Continuous Improvements programmes
  • Carry out any Ad-Hoc duties as assigned by the Operations Manager


Person Specification:

(Skills, Aptitudes, Experience)

  • Previous experience essential
  • Minimum of two years Inventory/ Stock Control experience preferably gained within a busy manufacturing environment
  • Experience of working with computerised warehousing and stock systems (ideally integrated ERP web-based such as Netsuite)
  • Good level of fitness to carry out some heavy lifting and physically demanding work        
  • High levels of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, conscientious and thorough
  • Customer focused
  • Proactive approach; demonstrating initiative and willingness toward ownership of tasks and role
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, transport, couriers and suppliers 
  • Methodical and process driven
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
  • Good IT skills – MS Office Excel, Outlook, Word 
  • Flexible and hands-on approach
  • Solid Team player 
  • Committed to continuous improvement  
  • Must be reliable
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Fork – lift licence would be advantageous however not essential
