Ethical Gift Guide

Shopping ethically is something that we are very passionate about at TotsBots. With Christmas coming up, we’ve listed our favourite ethical Christmas gifts for babies and children. Are there any of these on your little ones Christmas list? Keep reading for details on how you could win a selection of our favourite gifts!

A popular choice when it comes to wooden toys is the wooden rainbow from Grimms. Carved from one single piece of wood, this clever toy will develop your little one’s imagination through play. It can be built into anything from towers and bridges to ball runs and intricate structures of flowers and animals. One thing is for sure, it will never get old and is something that the whole family will love.

TotsBots Cloth Nappies

Not the most obvious choice as a gift, but our cloth nappies make the perfect gift for babies and toddlers who aren’t yet toilet trained. Practical and pretty, they are a lovely stocking filler and will be used again and again. If cloth nappies aren’t for you, then we also have our Happy Mat which is a must have for any baby. Our latest offer for Christmas is on the Little Bags of Fluff which are a steal at only £65 and feature our very own Christmas nappy print in the award winning Easyfit Star!

Piccalilly offer a wide range of organic kids clothing which are gorgeously soft, GOTS certified and made to last. They have anything from muslins to sleep suits which are perfect for littlies at Christmastime and they will lovingly gift wrap it for you if you like for a small fee.

National or Woodland Trust membership

If you feel like you are overrun with toys and would like an alternative gift this Christmas then why not invest in a family pass for the National Trust or Woodland Trust? This would give you access to a number of days out over the year that you don’t need a lot of spare cash for.

Slug & Snails Tights

These guys were the first company in the UK & Ireland to design and produce tights just for boys and girls. They have won awards for their eco-friendly products which are ideal in the colder months to keep little legs cosy. They even have a range for adults too if you’re partial to a bit of matchy matchy!

Harry & Rose

If you’re looking for a natural skin care range then take a look at Harry & Rose. Newly launched earlier this year and made in the UK, their products are ideal for baby’s delicate skin. They have a beautiful Christmas box available now too which includes a selection of their products, including their nappy spray.
