Our Nappy Types

At TotsBots we have two nappy types, All-in-Ones and Two-Parters . Most of our customers have both types in their nappy kit.

Screen Shot 2013-06-19 at 19.16.25An AIO is a one-piece nappy that is very similar to a disposable in design. It has as a waterproof exterior and an absorbent inside core. There is no need for a separate waterproof cover and you don’t have to assemble nappy before you put it on. This is a firm favourite with Dads. Just add a stay dry liner and baby. Job done! The Easyfit (our AIO) is great for use during the day and with childminders and nurseries. The Teenyfit is our AIO for early babies and twins.

Pros- Easy on, easy off, slim fitting & fast drying. Great for day-time!

Cons – Will need boosted for heavy wetters.

Quite simply it is two bits, an absorbent part (Bamboozle Stretch or PeeNut Pad) and a waterproof part (PeeNut wrap). Again just pop in a stay dry liner and you are ready to go. Two part nappies perform better than AIO nappies just by design. Choose the Bamboozle, for unbeatable overnight performance and the PeeNut for a very close, slim-fit, fast drying second!

Pros - Very absorbent, can last 12+ hours. Great containment. Great for night-time.

Cons – Takes a few more seconds to put on baby.

Poppers_Detail_cloud-maskDar&Stro_kiss_cloud-maskSimple, poppers on the front enable you to make the nappy smaller so that they will fit most babies from 8-9lbs to potty training. The average waist measurement of a newborn is around 40 cm, this only increases to around 55cm by the time potty training comes around and the waist fastenings on our nappies will accommodate this no problem. It is important that you do acknowledge that B2P nappies are a one size fits most, not a one size fits all. B2P nappies can sometimes be a compromise, fine for most and will work perfectly well, but with babies at the opposite ends of the centile charts there can sometimes be fitting issues, particularly on long skinny babies. This is why we also have smaller nappies in the range i.e the Teenyfit and the size 1 Bamboozle Stretch.

For sheer performance, reliability and durability our two parters The Peenut and The Bamboozle Stretch are very hard to beat, especially if you happen to have a heavy wetter. All-in-One nappies are super popular with first time parents however, we are now seeing a large proportion of customers moving back to Two Parters as they just work better, they absorb more, very rarely leak and will contain things disposables can only dream of.
